I was very excited to try these new Momiji Manju Kit Kats from Hiroshima, based on the classic cake-like snacks filled with red beans.
Recently a friend sent me this Hokkaido Melon Kit Kat from Japan…
The ‘Mainichi no Zeitaku’ or ‘Luxury Every Day’ Kit Kat was released in 2016 in Japan, and it’s certainly one of the most interesting Kit Kats to come out of Japan recently. The Kit Kat is part of the Chocolatory series and features cranberries and almonds on top of a milk chocolate Kit Kat.
This mint Kit Kat was so delicious – much nicer the the mint Kit Kats here in the UK!
I love the Big Little range – they’re so yummy!
Bizarrely, in 2016 Japan brought out some Easter ‘pancake style’ Kit Kats. Easter isn’t a holiday celebrated in Japan, but they’re usually quite keen to jump on commercial ideas! 🙂
Back in February last year I found these brilliant Kumamoto Tea Kit Kats featuring the very cute Kumamoto mascot Kumamon. The box was really cute, and it had this pull up part which changed the message in Kumamon’s speech bubble and his facial expression. かわいい！
